While Picking Hazelnuts

I thought Tumblr for a few moments while standing under bright blue skies picking hazelnuts.

I thought about it because when I was back in the States, ‘tumbling’ was a popular topic of conversation. It seems to fit the nano-second attention span of certain American web surfers (apologies, but I will never use the term ‘interwebs’ or whatever other silliness).

I have to admit, I dig its simple interface, the presentation of photos and super cool graphical archive display. I also enjoy the seemingly easy-going social network of ‘fellow tumblrs’. Oh, and there is some amazing writing to be found.

Hmm…still thinking about it, but I refuse to jump ship. At least, not quite yet.
